In the EV two-wheeler segment, 32,416 high-speed electric scooters were sold out of the total 54,557 units sold last month. This is an increase of 18 percent over January this year and a staggering 44 percent year-on-year increase in registrations.

Hero Electric vehicle company sold 46,260 units of electric scooters in 2021. The Electric vehicle brand hero electric, which has a market share of over approx 30 percent in the electric two-wheeler segment in India, is showing signs of improvement this year as compared to the 2021 sales figures. Within the first two months, the hero electric scooter company has sold over 15,000 units. At this rate of sales, the Hero Electric scooter can almost double its sales this year.
2. Okinawa Autotech
Okinawa Autotech continues to be at the second position among the top electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India in February by market share. The hero electric scooters are on the top of the list
The Okinawa electric scooter company also registered a jump in sales last month with 5,923 units as compared to January. This is a more than five-fold increase in sales as compared to February last year when it could sell just 1,067 units.

Okinawa electric scooter company is currently preparing to launch a new electric scooter named Okhi 90 (Okhi 90). It will compete with e-scooters like Ola S1 Pro.
Okinawa sold 29,945 electric two-wheelers last year and got the second position on the list.
The company has already sold 11,536 electric two-wheelers between January and February this year.
Okinawa also wants to double its sales this year. Especially with the launch of new models in the coming days, the company will move towards meeting its target.

It sold 4,303 units last month. Whereas last year only 806 units were sold in the same month.

Bengaluru-based EV startup Ather Energy electric scooter company reported a marginal drop in sales last month.

Ather Energy electric scooter company sold 2,229 units in February, compared to 2,825 units in January.
However, this is still a significant hike as compared to February last year, when the brand sold just 626 units.
